CHAPTER TWO.

12-19-2007

Circus Diablo wrapped up their first full year as a band with two successful shows in Los Angeles last week. They opened for Velvet Revolver and Alice In Chains at the Gibson Amphitheater, and then played to a packed Viper Room on Sunset Blvd the next night. These shows close a year that saw the bands debut album released, a single (LOADED) go to Active Rock Top 40 and the video for the song become a number one most viewed on YouTube ....twice! The video has had well over one million views. Billy Duffy (who co-wrote and recorded the album with Billy Morrison and Ricky Warwick) played the first few shows before moving back with The Cult. Brett Scallions became a first time dad, joined the remaining members of The Doors and filled the shoes of Jim Morrison in Riders On The Storm. Both Billy and Brett were influential parts in the Diablo story, and will be missed. The current V2.0 line up of Circus Diablo features ex Korn guitarist Rob Patterson (who travelled the US with Diablo during the summer Ozzfest tour) and bass player Patrick Cornell.
